reuters
Sao Paulo - Jenson Button hope to finish the world title hunt in the Brazilian Grand Prix had a big problem because it will only start from 14th position. That's because one select tires.
Button plead guilty did not immediately replace the tires on his car Brawn with intermediate tires at the end of the second qualifying session as did many rivals.
Brazilian GP qualifying place in the rain since the beginning and just began to subside at the end of the second qualifying. One tire can not make Button competitive and should be satisfied with the start position 14.
"At the beginning of the session (second), my car was too under steer. At that time, the circuits are not as wet as first qualifying session," Button said as quoted by Autosport.
"I can not do much with my car and on the third lap, the rear of my car got out of hand and that was that. We do not install the wrong (tires) intermediate at the end of the session," he regret.
Button will grab the world title if able to finish on the podium, no matter the results of its competitors, Rubens Barrichello. Barrichello himself pole position in the race today.
